Everything in it's place as should be..."
Boy is that inaccurate. Haha. But that song is stuck in my head. So despite the fact that it is not the morning, and if it were the morning I would not be smiling, I still sing those words.
I had a most excellent Monday, and a very good Tuesday. These days made up for my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weekend. I won't talk about my weekend anymore because I don't want to stir up bitterness within myself. Hah.
Anyway, yesterday was a great day. I woke up, had breakfast with Laura, went to a pretty cool chapel, went to class (which was actually interesting), went to check in with Dr. J about working today and he said that he'd pay me for the hour but I didn't have to be there, had another class which was fine, had another class which was really interesting, the prof gave me a watermelon flavored blow pop, got all dolled up, had ice cream for dinner, went to the screening of "Witch Hunt" in Salem with Ellie, went to Target, bought two pairs of workout pants and two multi-purpouse shirts all for $30, wrote a really terrible paper, and went to bed. Despite being the most grammatically incorrect sentence ever, that's a good summation of my day.
So, Witch Hunt. It was fab. I enjoyed it muchly. The screening was really cool. The VP of Programming at the History Channel opened the program, and the mayor of Salem spoke a bit. The show itself was really well done. And I saw myself many a time. Occasionally very prominently featured. It's amusing because I definitely never felt like the camera was focused on me or anything, but somehow they have shots! And the coolest thing was that my name was in the credits! I was not expecting that, so that was really neat. And I was under "Supporting Cast" or whatever, which was cool, too. Especially since I didn't say anything, and the camera never dwelt on me for very long. The good shots of me don't really appear until the second half of the film (the best shots are during the hanging scenes), but there are blurbs throughout. It was very well done. And I guess Entertainment Weekly reviewed it, and gave it a B, which is cool.
And today was cool because not only did the Sox win, but I was finally able to get out to buy a car battery and it was less expensive than I thought (about $40). And yet another guy called me whilst I was grocery shopping volunteering to help out with the battery change, should I need it. I should request help for my car more often! Actually, hopefully I won't need to. I'm meeting with the first guy who responded to the ad at 11:30 Thursday morning to get the battery changed. If the car still won't work, I'll know it's the alternator, and I'll have to get it to a mechanic. But at least I'll know what's wrong. And I owe Frog twizzlers for driving me.
I also had a nice aerobic walking class today. I walked five miles or so. Coolness. And it was beautiful outside, so it was a nice break to be in the fresh air for a bit.
So in conclusion, God is wonderful. He has a way or brightening your day when you least expect it, and certainly don't deserve it. Thank you, God!
