It's true...my hands do smell like onions. I had a "steak bomb" for dinner at Lane. Risky business. I wanted meat, though. I don't eat real meat very often at Gordon. I have bacon on occasion, and lots and lots of chicken, but that's about it. I don't get much fish, either. And I still want sushi. I'm going to get some for lunch tomorrow on account of I'll be working the shift that includes a lunch break and there's a sushi place right behind the Old Town Hall.
I worked today for a mere three hours. Twas very short, but I was relieved. My voice has been turning on and off all day, and I don't feel completely 100%, so it was nice to not be on the go all day.
Oh, and I didn't wake up until just past 12 today. It was insane. I sat up in bed, looked at my clock, and promptly fell out of bed. I couldn't believe it was that late. Especially considering I was planning on leaving for Salem at 1:15. I was out so cold last night. Yay for 10 hours of sleep! I definitely needed it.
Tomorrow I'm leaving around 9:15 for work, and I'll finish around 2:30. I'm then going back to Gordon, dropping the kids I carpool off, tossing my pillow and some clothes in the car, and hauling my bootay down to Weston to hang out with Kelly and my mother. I'm excited.
Oh, and I got a 92 on my sociology exam. The grades were posted today on blackboard.com. I'm pumped. That means that I'll more than likely get an A in that class, depending on what he gives me for class participation.
And I have a single this weekend. My roomie went to New York to visit her sister. Granted, I haven't been around much, but whatever.
Jude Law is hosting SNL next weekend. Should be interesting. He doesn't strike me as the type of actor who does "funny," you know? That's probably because I've only seen him in Cold Mountain and Road to Perdition, and those are definitely not comedies. He'll surprise me, I'm sure. He's very talented, so I bet he'll do fabulously.
My brother might have a stress fracture in his leg from doing cross country. And he said he ran in a race today, too. He's crazy.
Oh, and Paul made me realize the other night whilst en route to Translations that I don't have a day off until Thanksgiving. Okay, that's not true. I have a couple Sundays in November. But I'm working every weekend day this month, and we have tech rehearsal for Pinter the first weekend in November, and then the show. I feel bad because I told my aunt that I would be able to come over some weekend in November, but I didn't even stop to realize that I don't have a weekend off in November, either. I suppose I could go over for the day on a Sunday or something.
I want to watch a good, cozy up movie. Like a Muppet movie. Anybody out there have a Muppet movie I could borrow for the evening? Or, maybe an old Cary Grant comedy? Hmm...
Oh! I know! I'll go down to the RD's apartment and borrow "Bedknobs and Broomsticks!" She has the DVD. Wootness!
