Darkness Falls
The darkness came on him unexpectedly. It fell through his mind, through his body, through his soul. The world stalled. Reality ceased to exist. Time lost all meaning.
He existed that way - lost inside himself, unsure who he was any more or how he could possibly survive - until he cracked.
Light came into him as fire. It ignited him back to life. He became again to the sound of metal on metal, a crowbar in his hands, the trunk of the Impala crushed, scarred, broken.
He turned away, rage spent. Crushed, scarred, broken; the world stalled again and darkness fell.
