So here's the two sections that got lopped off part 8. I, myself, view this as part of chapter 8, as I felt it got a little shorted on the non-exposition parts of the story, as these two scenes were the gut kickers I meant to top off all that exposition and chit-chatting and waiting about, but LJ wouldn't let me post them. Lovely!!!!!!!! And Sammy & Danny were cuteness :-)

I've had to be really careful about Danny. Originally, I didn't give him any on-screen time at all just because I knew, if I did, he was going to start getting all screen-hoggy and want to take over the whole fic.
Hopefully he hasn't done that, but if not, certainly not for lack of trying. The dude is relentless in telling me heartbreaking things about the man he is.

And I liked the scene with Mary and Dean very much.

The whole scene with Danny and Sammy was wonderful. It felt so honest. And the thing with the spitting camel made me burst out laughing.
The scene with Danny and Sarah just broke me. Again so honest.
And I loved the scene with Danny and Dean. Just because I adore these two characters doesn't mean they adore each other. Very cool. I like the tension there and I like Danny's warning about Dean needing to be respectful.
And, of course, I loved the scene with Dean and Mary.
You seriously need to look into turning this into an original fiction novel. I mean it. I believe you're truly that talented to pull it off!

This story is amazing, it is painfully honest and heartbreaking and everything about it rocks so much. I wish I was more coherent to tell you exactly what I like of it, but in all honesty there is not a single thing I don't like, from your OCs to the characterization of the "regular", the waythe storys unfolds quitly along the years. This makes for an increadible read.
I crave for more.
