eldritchhobbit has been nominated for The Northeast Tolkien Society's Imperishable Flame Award for Tolkien/Inklings Scholarship in 2005.
Aside from being the rockin'est fandom scholar this side of the Delta Quadrant, she absolutely deserves this honor for, among other things, managing last November's Past Watchful Dragons International Conference (http://www.belmont.edu/cslewis) and talkin Tolkien in a number of venues that include The One Ring Celebration, MythCon, MidSouthCon, Hypericon, The Gathering of the Fellowship, Xanadu/DeepSouthCon, and assorted radio programs such as NPR's "Talk of the Nation" and Tani Tinuviel's "What Would Arwen Do?"
