Caaaaaaaaaa-RAP!
OMG. I have a transition scene in Skin Deep between John and Dean to get from where I left y'all to a long-ass conversation between John and Sammy. It was done, finito, completely written a day and a half ago ... I've been working on the John and Sammy convo. And it has doubled in size from where it was when I thought it was finished, but kinda knew it wasn't really. So not a huge surprise to me ... that often happens.
So why the Caaaaaaaaa-RAP! you ask?
Because that transition scene -- the done, finito, completely finished one? -- was 4 pages (787 words) long a day and a half ago. It is now 15 pages (5,484 words) long. And the worst part? I pulled out a page and a half of the original fucking material. And it is still a transition scene, just there to connect one important event to another.

My head hurts.
