Beta Cry!

Writing has been going extremely well this month. I will make a post in a few days with my word count. Right now I am in need of a beta (or betas). For various reasons, each of these fics has me questioning certain sections - probably a lot of that has to do with how fast I have turned them out.

If you still need someone, I'm willing to help. :) The Firefly sounded really interesting, but I saw you already got one on that, so just gimmie whatever you have left - it's not like I didn't think they all sounded pretty awesome. ;)

Would you mind looking at the Wincest one then? (since the Dean/Cas isn't actually finished yet and I haven't had any takers on the Wincest). It's really dark and it's making me kind of nervous to be so far out of my usual humorous zone of writing.

Someday I need to do a proper rec post for my favorite Mal/Jayne fics. It's hard to find ones where they are in an active relationship and yet still manage to totally stay in-character.

Dude, we've all been there. I keep thinking how I need to post some of my early Lord of the Rings fic to my LJ, because I want all my fic in one place, but it is embarrassing the things I didn't know how to write then. And my first het sex fic (Faculty - Zeke/Ms Burke) was so not good.

Hehe, yeah. I once wrote a Buffy poem that will never see the light of day either. I love how the first porny thing I ever wrote was het, and it sucked ass since I was so... inexperienced. Now I write gay porn, and I've never had gay sex, but somehow it turns out much better. :P

Dude, yes, THIS. It's weird how that works, right? I wonder why that is.

It's really weird! I guess you take what you learn from other people's slash and convert it into something of your own and none of it is based in reality. :P
