These Are My People. Here's My Patch.

I was just flipping back and forth between two TV shows - one was an SVU episode where the perp was played by Michael Trucco (you know him as Anders on BSG) and A Cinderella Story on ABC Family. This is a weird enough combination as is, but Trucco also played the uncle of Chad Michael Murray’s character on One Tree Hill - so the combo of watching ( Read more... )

cartoons are for everyone!, the nephew, birthdays, the bff is my bestest best friend, family circus, one tree hill is my after-school special, videos - various, jason london is delicious, dogs and virgins, my grandparents - my heroes, musicals - life with song, tivo and i will be in my bunk, real life, youtube is an alien-virus, chad michael murray is my douchebag

Bad SyFy movies are better if you watch them with a crowd, or loads of alcohol! I was on the phone with my dad the other day and I said, "Hey dad, I am watching a bad SyFy movie right now with The Faceman from The A-Team in it," and he says, "Meteors are gonna destroy the earth? Yep, I'm watching it right now too." lol

My nephew is awesome and talented (I didn't even know he could sing!) ;)

I tend to watch them with my mum, the latter/earlier you watch the worse stuff, gets, but it's pretty entertaining. Still need to watch megashark v some other monster I can't remember, it looks so bad, but in a way that makes it really fun to watch lol

It was Megashark vs some sort of crocodile, right? Seems like. I am really into the bad 'end of the world' movies for some reason. I mean I enjoy a good well-done 'end of the world' movie too but the really badly done ones are so much fun.

I think it was a crocodile, maybe a giant one? Bad end of the world films can be awesome. I also have a weakness for bad horror as well as good.

Oh yeah, bad horror can be fun too. I also like natural disaster movies. I will watch anything, no matter how bad - the new made-for-tv disaster films and the old stuff from the 70s, I love that crap.

my mum loves disaster films, so I've watched a ton of them, some of the uttherly crap ones are the most entertaining.

The worst natural disaster movie I own is Night of the Twisters starring John Schneider and a young Devon Sawa. It is so cliched, I love it. Your mom should check it out.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it. She's to blame for my twisted taste in films. I pretty much loath chick flicks and Rom Com's. Apparently my DVD collection looks like it should belong to a teenage boy.....a weird teenage boy lol

You'll probably have to rent Night of the Twisters, idk that they play it on TV anymore. But it's so worth it.

Mine too! I have a ton of snarky low-brow comedies, action movies mostly about zombies and bad natural disaster films. I have a few other movies but honestly, I just watch the same three movies over and over again anyway - Deep Impact (your mom should watch that if she hasn't, it's amazing, it's actually quite good) Independence Day and Jurassic Park.

I love all three of those films!! I was watching independence day yesterday, will smith punching an alien in the face, who doesn't like that?

My shelves are mainly full of horror(the old slashers I love, some remakes I tolerate) And then lots of stand up comedy

Have you seen Zombie land? Normaly I hate horror/comedy, but there is something about that one that works.

Whenever I get depressed or am sick and in need of comfort, I will do a run of my three fav movies - I call it "Jurassic Impact Day".

My favorite Independence Day moment is when the alien is inside the President's head and the general is all, "Is that glass bullet proof?" and Adam Baldwin (in uniform!) is all, "No, sir!" and whips out his gun and blows the alien away!

Yeah, I've rewatched that scene like porn, okay.

Have you seen Zombie land?

OMG, YES! I honestly think this is the best zombie movie ever made. It is fucking scary and hysterically funny and sweetly sad at the same time.

Have you ever seen the original black and white Night of the Living Dead? I am blown away by how ahead of its time it was. Also, you should watch the really campy cult classic of Return of the Living Dead, about a group of punk rockers who get drunk in a graveyard and then get attacked by zombies. My friends and I used to watch it over and over. Of course, we were stoned of our asses but still.

I love his rules in zombie land. And bill murry dressing as a zombie to fit in, makes me laugh every time.

Night of the living dead is an awesome film. Punk rockers and zombies in the same film <3 I've seen way too many zombie films lol

The worse sequal I have ever seen was a sequal to the original Texas chainsaw massacare.
It had the family traveling around killing people and using them to make chilli for chilli cook offs.
They make you graon, but bad horror and syfy are still so watchable lol
