...here’s what’s been going on with me. I had surgery the day before Thanksgiving. Let’s rewind to the beginning of summer, when my left leg started bothering me, my hip constantly feeling like it needed to be uncramped. I remember how rough on my leg the trip to the zoo with the Canadians was in July, spending the whole day in the wheelchair. ( Read more... )

!!!! Oh my gosh, it breaks my heart that it took so many months for this procedure to be done. But what a relief to have it over with! I hope every day brings a lessening of pain, and increase in mobility. This has been such a stress-packed year. May 2019 be a year of peace, healing, and many calm and pain- and emergency-free days for all of us. ♥

Good Lord honey, let's hope you never have to go through that again! I'm thrilled the surgery went well, but will keep fingers and toes crossed you never have to have it again. XOXOXOXO

Glad to hear that it went 'good', as in no complicated surgery.

Boo-hiss on the pain meds front.

I saved my pain meds from my Acessa (uterine fibroids) procedure. I keep wondering if I should just hang onto them, or pass them along to someone with chronic pain issues.

Glad to hear that your sis was able to be there with you.

Also, you walking with that 'flap' thing... I kept picturing you walking like some sort of pirate, or muggle version of book!Moody (from Harry Potter.)

Glad to hear you are doing better.
