First, I hate when I click "post" and then remember I didn't "tag" to a community. I always do it at one community every time I cross-post a fic. At least this time it was a moderated comm and it didn't just post straight through. /sigh/
Anyhoo...I have brief comments on Shows that I haven't had time to express yet.
First - conversation with my sister when Brittany wants to date Artie and admits she thought he was a robot.
Me: I don't know why I'm surprised Glee doesn't have continuity. I mean, when Brittany made out with Kurt, she told him that he was the last guy in school she hadn't made out with. Which means she must have made out with Artie at some point.
Sister: Don't be stupid. She thought she had made out with all the boys in school...because she thought Artie was a robot. That's totally continuity.
Me: Of course, that makes total sense. I love Brittany.
Which I do, never more so than in this episode. Her face at the end of it, when she was watching Artie, just broke my heart. I'm so glad Brit is getting some storylines, but this was so sad. I love this whole storyline from both of the characters.
Mercedes and Santana are so freaking hot, they really should get naked together. And then sing.
What?!?! Why is my boy in Juvie? And how can they all be so uncaring about him? Poor baby. Puck's gonna need some "just got out of jail" lovin' in a bit. I'm right here, baby! So is he in Juvie so they could introduce Sam or because Mark is off doing album promo shit? Either way, come home, baby. I miss you. /sigh/
Anyone else glad they went back to Kurt's inappropriate behavior with Finn last season? Now that they've knocked Kurt back a little on his high horse, let's get him laid! (see how that's my solution to everything?)
Mike and Tina! OMG I was so not on-board with this pairing at all...but omg, that was awesome. Still not sure how I feel about them as a couple because clearly he is kind of an idiot (though I am totally into that myself), but good lord that was great. Tina sang! Dean is so happy. Also, Mike could totally bang Emma if he wanted too. (Okay, that made sense to like three people...or just me...but he could.)
ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!!!!!!!!
First, conversation with The Cousin while watching...
Castiel on TV: Where did you get the Staff Of Moses?
Kid on TV: I bought it.
The Cousin: From where? Ebay?
Omg, Castiel was hotter than ever!! Right? I mean, it's not just because I missed him so much. That man is delicious.
I liked this episode better than any so far.
Thank you for the fan-service, Sera. I love you, Sera. (No, really I do, not just for shallow reasons.) Fan-service came in the following forms...
Dean's back, which I have always and will always be obsessed with. It was so delicious. That whole scene was awesome.
Sam...idk why he is with a hooker but I kind of loved it because it's so skanky. Also, shut up Jared, you can so totally do rapid fire push-ups and chin-ups or whatever. I just saw you. Once again, I spent way too much time trying to determine if he was wearing underwear. He wasn't, was he?
But the best fan-service was...We all knew that Dean and Cas had a "special bond" but thank you for saying it. Love how Cas is apologetic because he didn't want to mention their special bond. Sam doing his Castiel impersonation (think that came out of Jared doing his around set all the time?) was hysterical. Sam is so indignant that Cas only comes for Dean! Hahahaha.
Not liking Castiel's super-super powers. It's going to make it boring every time he is on screen, if he is all Superman. Seriously, this is why I think Superman is a pussy. It's a cop-out. It's too easy. The BFF thinks Castiel's "drama" will be in him dealing with merging his angel-ness with what he learned as a human...which is awesome, but makes me not worry too much about how much danger they are in when Castiel is around. Plus, it does weird shifty things with the camera that make me dizzy.
Balawhatever is going to make for an interesting character, but they still better be working on getting Gabriel back to us. Someone on my flist said (
tringic was that you, baby?) that it is nice to see Castiel having a real friend for a change. In my head, I'm like, "Balthazar was his old high school buddy. Awwww." And then I spewed up this fic idea where Cas and Bal are Bestest Best Friends and then Gabriel comes back and is all jealous cuz he thought he was Castiel's Bestest Best Friend. Guess I'm gonna have to write that shit now.
Also, maybe the gross-est episode they have had yet.
And also, jump me if you want, but I actually like Dean doing the whole, "I'm a traveling salesman who goes home to his family on the weekends" thing. (As is evidenced if you see the fic I just posted that I totally wrote before they revealed that storyline anyway and now watch it get pissed on. Ah well, it started out as AU, I guess it can go back to being AU if they fuck up this thing he has going on with Lisa and Ben, but dude, I really hope they don't.)
DING DONG THE CAR IS DEAD!!!!
Conversation in the car with my cousin, Jim.
(Car darts around us on highway.)
Jim: What the fuck? Who the hell do you think you are?
Me: A douchebag, look at his douchebag car.
Jim: Dude, with vanity plates. Douchebag is damn straight. You called that shit.
Me: I know. It's a 2010 Charger. Douchebag.
I feel like there was more stuff I thought during the episode, but whatever. Have to go shower now.
OH, RUFUS IS COMING BACK!! That was what I wanted to say!
In Sum: Hawaii Five-O is getting better. I could still do without Alex whatever his name is in that lead role, but it is hard to stay chemistry-less when acting next to my boy, Caan. And some of the looks Steve gives Danny are so "fuck me now", it's awesome. Plus, they are giving Daniel and Grace's characters some in-depth storylines, so I'm sticking with it.
Nikita is not as good as I expected, but I'm hanging in there because, hi Aaron Stanford, (who looks like he's had his nose broken a few times since I saw him last), and holy shit can Shane West wear a mother-fucking suit. Hi, Shane, you grew up nice since from when you were on that show with Billy Campbell.
I still am ridiculously excited about Hellcats. Idek why, but I love it and rush to watch my episodes every week. It's fun. You got a problem with me watching a teen drama about cheerleaders on The CW? Thought not.
