I Am Accomplished!

I HAVE CAUGHT UP ON THE INTERNET!! Or, well, the parts of the internet I actually care about.

I’ve been so less active since I initially got sick with the bronchitis, last fall. My post count has been way down. I am always a month behind on my Flist. I very rarely post fic. I very rarely write fic. My comments kept stacking up. And my ( Read more... )

Babe, I am SO GLAD that your energy levels are higher, and that they've stabilized. YAY!

Thanks, babe! Omg, having my energy levels even slightly back has been so wonderful. It's helped my anxiety immensely too, to be able to plan ahead for the next day without the 'not knowing how my health would be the next day' that I was suffering from all winter. Even though I don't feel great, I feel better.

*hugs you* Bronchitis is evil, I had it in New Zealand my first year and that's when I learned I was allergic to penicillin. I was getting a rash as I was trying to recover, that sucked but it sucks everything from you. I'm so glad that you're feeling better and I hear you on writing. For me, I have bursts due to prompts and other things but mainly my writings on hold, but job stuff seems to be bubbling. Good stuff is going to happen.

Oh and if you want to share long emails and thoughts on X-Men things, I'd love it as Days of Future Past was good but not as good as it could have been to me. Great ideas but the execution at points felt rushed and saved by wonderful actors. Oh and last night I dreamed of acting with James McAvoy and Jude Law in Wellington, New Zealand. I miss you, you're too far away.

Bronchitis is the worst and omg, you getting a rash on top of it had to be the very worst. I am just hoping we don't have such a hash winter next time around so I can stay healthy. The writing thing is so hard because when we feel low or stressed, we need it even more as a release valve, but that's when we don't have the energy or focus to do any actual writing! I just hadn't felt like myself at all until I started writing again.

I def want to share long emails about DOFP! I am very curious as to what didn't feel like it fit to you. I'll try to hit you up tomoorow!

I miss you too! Why are you so far way - it's so nice here right now and the sun is shining and I have the whole week free from PT and I'm just chillin' in the living room and you should be here chillin' too!

oops, posted too soon, hard to watch baseball and type at the same time!

Yeah, it was awful as I had tiny hives on my cheek and the bottom of one foot.

Oh yes, I wish I could call the words when I wanted them but every once in a while, I'll find them. Sometimes all it takes is the right prompt or something and they'll be there.

My main issue with it was that it felt a lot like a fix-it fic but I would have rather seen more of the falling apart. I would have loved if there had been more seen of their lives between the two movies. As the set up especially in the '70s felt a bit rushed, good ideas but without the same oomph as it could have had.

Today the weather here is awful, humid and hot and my period just started so all I want to do is not move. I'd love to be chilling there with you.

You (and your family) have had some seriously bad luck this year and I am really hoping it gets better for you. *HUGS*

Yummmm, who is that in your icon? He is pretty. Is it Merlin?

Me and the fam have had a rough year. I am actually trying to get in for a few counseling sessions to learn some anxiety coping techniques because if we have another run like we had earlier this year, I am going to need them.

Things have definitely started to look better, at least for me healh-wise. My Mom is still sick and the case for her dog hasn't moved forward and my insurance is still all fucked up, but I am physically doing better and the weather is glorious and I'll take that as a start! Thanks, babe!

Yes, that is Colin Morgan. I made an icon from one of his press shots from Quirke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quirke_(TV_series)). Love his face.

I'm sorry about everything else, but I am so glad to hear you are feeling better.

Sorry to hear about the bronchitis and yeah getting sick like that really takes the stuffing out of one, for a long time. Great that your energy is rebounding and that you're writing. Days ago I had a great burst myself and wrote over 2000 words. I paid for that yesterday by getting none out. lol. Cheers.

It was a rough run of things. With the winter being as harsh as it was, I just couldn't shake it. And then it takes forever to get your stamina back up, you know.

Great that your energy is rebounding and that you're writing.

Thanks, darling! I feel so much better now that I can get my words out where they belong.

lol It always feels great to get such a big burst like that, doesn't it? Even if you run the risk of drying out right after. ;)
