Yeah, there's no way you can NOT visit. I really hope that your grandpa can at least maintain where he is, if that's possible; hopefully he'll at least make it through the holidays with you.
Grandpa seems to be doing pretty well since the fall, all things considered, and I am grateful we didn't lose him now, so close to the holidays. But at 94, his body has been fighting long enough, you know.
I love visits with Grandma - Idk why she can't understand that of all of the crazy shit we have to get done every week, visiting her is one we actually look forward too.
Argh, that's a LOT of people for a LONG time. We don't party more than about three hours at a pop these days....
It only lasted SIX HOURS! I think that might be the shortest party we've ever thrown. It went okay, but I felt awful for most of it and my cousin got so drunk that he went past humorous to rude and that was NOT fun. The food was good though and I got to see my two youngest cousins and meet their girlfriends, which was super nice. I never see those boys for some reason.

He just might, as you said a comment or three ago, be ready to go. But that doesn't make it any easier for the people left behind! Maybe you can make Grandma understand how much you love visiting her.
Wow, short party! With at least some good parts despite feeling bad, so yay on that.
