I am most likely trading in my beloved vw golf today for a Ford Ranger I test drove this morning. It's a sad goodbye, but the truck will get me more places I want to go.
I am now nervously waiting as my mechanic inspects the ranger.
I am looking forward to having a more practical vehicle, yet cannot deny the sadness and guilt I feel saying goodbye to the little red car that has done me well.
I keep having to remind myself that its not like I'm trading in a friend. It's just a car. And the ranger is pretty nice too. It's... amethyst, after all.
