I am mystified at the idea of paying a thousand pesos for a pair of tsinelas - even more for the rare ones! One mom from PEx is asking me to buy some for her from eBay UK, and the total cost for two pairs of slippers, including shipping to Sweden is about 40 GBP (about 4,000 PHP). And I saw a pair with Swarovski crystals, going for the mind-boggling price of 50 GBP, yikes!
