Pinoy family forgets their son in airport

... and doesn't realize he was missing until they were told by airline staff that their son was left behind 0.0

You've probably already read about this, but in case you haven't, here's the link to the MSNBC article.

Now I can understand how the child could wander off and get lost in a busy airport because the parents and grandparents got scattered while rushing to the plane. No matter how careful you are, accidents happen; this is why we label our kids' clothing with their names and our telephone numbers even if we are always two steps behind them. And I'm sure JM's mom and dad are good parents, and he's luckier than the kids of, say, these totally airhead parents or this terrible father.

But I still can't understand how they failed to notice that the child was missing all throughout the flight. Who had the kid's boarding pass and passport? Even if they were seated in different parts of the plane, surely whoever had the bag with the child's diaper, toys, milk, etc. (let's say yung dad ang may karga ng bag) would have looked for the child to give the bag to whoever he thought was taking care of the child? Basta, ang labo ng part na yun.

They're very very lucky that their kid was found by kind airport staff. It's been over a year since Madeleine McCann disappeared from her bedroom in a Portugal resort, and I can easily imagine how JM's story could have ended differently
