I don't feel so much like death anymore, but my GERD is still getting the best of me. I've felt pretty crappy this week thus far. I have another doctor's appt on friday. We'll how I'm feeling by then. Typically I'm always feeling good when I get to the doctor's office (I guess it just needst to be threatened).

I started on my Nexium (the purple pill) yesterday. I think the Omprezole was helping out more. When I've been getting specific attacks (usually in the morning or at night before bed) I've been popping a few Tums to nuetralize it quick, so I'm feeling relatively decent again in a fair amount of time. I read on line that Nexium won't curb all the effects all the time, so Tums can be used to help curb "acute attacks" as the web page said.

I'm still trying to figure out what I can and can't eat. On Nexium's website it has a good list of food items and ingredients to avoid. Apparently tomatoes are bad for me, so that means no red sauces :(. Dairy is another bad thing for me, which is bad, because I usually have cheese daily, so I've just cut down on it, and ate it in smaller quantities (stupid wisconsin blood). Eating bread helps me out quite a bit too, so i've been having bagel sammiches for lunch, and those typically help out quite a bit.
