So, going back into my writing, I uncovered what is something akin to the writer's version of an infant christening gown that someone might have locked away in a cedar chest, forgotten up in an old attic....

IT'S MY FIRST PR0N.

AND ITS HYSTERICAL.

While browsing, I see a lot of journals that have "old stuff" still listed -- and even though the warning comes along, hey, it's old, I was pretty bad at the time when I was writing -insert genre-, somehow I admire that they're still willing to put that out there. Just because something may be old and not up to their current standards, it's still a part of their history.

But usually those histories span a few years. Mine? Eleven years. I'm talking back in the days where there wasn't much of anything except bloggers on Livejournal talking about their day to day life or the funny thing their cat just did while the writers were off on antiquated crap like mailing lists. Most of my first pieces were on MLs, then graduated to forums.

And I'll tell ya, if it seems as though a quality piece of writing doesn't seem like something you'd get on a mailing list... according to this horrible piece of suck, you'd be correct.

I was laughing aloud, it was that dumb! 'I've come a long way' understates wayyyyy too much.

The lulz I've been encountering in my trip through memory lane is massive. This almost calls for a meme. Or a quote post, at the very least.

writer's babble, wtf is this shit
