School starts.
I heard from some old friends over the break. It sounds like one of them is trying to be less of a party animal, which is always positive. I feel really positive and upbeat recently in general, it feels like the cloud of my grandfather's death has finally lifted. Getting in touch with old friends, mending broken friendships, and generally having a good life.
This semester's schedule:
General(Calc-based) Physics I- 9:00 MTWTh
Calculus II- 10:00 MTThF
Advanced Organic Spectroscopy: 1:00 MWF
Intro to Sociology: T 5:15-7:45 (yay night classes)
Research Lab: W 2:00-5:00
General Physics I Lab- 2:00-5:00 Th
Advanced Organic Spec Lab: 2:00-5:00 F (AUGH HATE)
Also work as a lab assistant one day a week for Organic Chem II lab (which I barely passed, yay) on Mondays, and I'm considering offering a position as a chemistry tutor for high school students one day a week as well. Also have to do my community service, 10 hours at the Space Museum. I got a scholarship from them so I have to volunteer there, which is fine. :P Right now I have to start my math homework, for my teacher is a bitch and gives it on the first two days of school.
Christmas was uneventful. I got a lot of money and that's about it. My mom bought me some silky PJs and various other things, and my uncle bought me a package of OU shirts. Dad seems like he's doing a lot better, and provided that I am allowed to get Internet at their new house, I might move in with them for the summer for GREAT PROFIT. Also need to fill out some scholarship forms for research this summer; they could be potentially tasty.
