Nu Who Meta: "alternate universe" characters vs "prime universe" characters
Several times, Nu Who has found itself in alternate universes or in alternate timelines. How do you feel about the alternate counterparts to characters we've already met and gotten to know? Are the counterparts similar to each other in the ways that matter, or are they distinctly different? For example, do you prefer the proper!Pete and proper!Jackie Tyler, or Pete's World Pete and Jackie Tyler? We've seen several versions of Amy and Rory from different timelines in episodes like The Wedding of River Song: which version of Amy and Rory do you prefer?
