What did you think of Kay Stewart? Would you like more classic companion tributes like this? If so, any thoughts on who or what you'd like to see?

I ADORED KATE STEWART AND GREATLY LOOK FORWARD TO HER BEING ON THE SHOW AGAIN (Radio Times did describe this as a 'debut', so I'm assuming she'll be back?). I honestly think her character went a long way on fixing UNIT from the para-military weirdness that was UNIT during the RTD era (which, frankly, always offended me as a classic series fan).

As for more classic companion tributes like this, my gut reaction is to say YES PLEASE, but I think if its done too much, then it could get a bit less exciting to see and possibly a bit trite. Then again, it is a nice way to draw more bridges between the new series and the old series and makes complete sense that the Doctor would run into the children/grandchildren/ancestors of his previous companions (I mean, we did have Jo's grandson meeting Eleven in SJA, but he was along for the ride with Jo and too young to 'do his own thing'). Why wouldn't they cross his path sometime, especially if they were inspired by said precious companion, and thus went on to do such things as fight aliens/work for UNIT/etc?
