Nu Who Meta: Jack's "wrong"-ness as a fixed point in time

Aug 20, 2012 08:50

In Utopia, the Tenth Doctor told Jack that the Ninth Doctor left him on the Game Station in The Parting of the Ways because Jack felt "wrong." What does "wrong" feel like? Is it a physical, emotional or other type of pain? Does being around Jack cloud the Doctor's thinking? Is it something he got over, because he ended sticking with Jack after Jack hitched a ride through the vortex (not that the Doctor had much choice in the matter)? Did it physically hurt theTenth Doctor to be around Jack and he just got used to it, or was just a queasy, generally "I don't like the way it feels being around you" sort of thing?
