Classic Who Meta: Tegan's character arc and departure
How do you feel about Tegan's character arc? At first she gets into the TARDIS as an accident and is left behind as a accident. Later she reappears and (sort of) leaves the Fifth Doctor of her own accord. How does this affect her overall character as a result? Would you have felt different about the character if she hadn't come back for the last goodbye? Is there anything else about her final scene that you wished the writers had handled differently? What do you think of the reference to her in SJA: Death of the Doctor, where Sarah Jane Smith mentions that Tegan is campaigning for Aboriginal rights?
