Summary: A lifetime together and the cracks continued to splinter and spread. She’d warned him that if he kept going it was bound to shatter. He just hadn’t realized she wasn’t the only one who’d be left in pieces.
A/N: This is actually pretty tragic compared to other stories I've written, but I really wanted to shine a light on the relationship between Amy, River, and Rory. They made it work, but it was obviously something that affected all three of them deeply, and especially River. I also found the story of the cracks in the skin of the universe rather poetic... hence this. Just understand, I tried to give it the happiest ending I could considering!
