I've got one question I can ask Matthew Jacobs and don't want to waste it!
(He wrote the TV movie with the Eighth Doctor.)
A friend of mine has a movie blog and is interviewing Matthew Jacobs about a movie he's written, but since this is a big week for Doctor Who, that's the lead-in to the interview. My friend has offered me one Who-related question to ask, and of course I've got brain freeze!
The very first thing I thought of was: In the movie...what's with the Doctor being half-human thing? Was it Jacobs' idea or something that one of the producers wanted thrown in there? I know there were a lot of cooks in the kitchen on that movie.
Has that question been answered elsewhere already? Should I stick with something current? I don't want to ask something he's been asked a jillion times, but my cursory search of past interviews isn't turning up much. I also don't want to ask the easy "who's your favorite baddie" sort of question. Eek!
