Characters: The non-Doctor first glimpsed at the end of Name of the Doctor and a lot of old friends.
A/N: This story was inspired by those final scenes from Name of the Doctor when, having rescued Clara within his own timestream, the Doctor is confronted with the figure of a man whom he identifies as one who is not allowed to call himself 'Doctor.' While chatting to snowflakie06 this story sprang to mind.
A/N 2: I am doing something here I dislike, which is to post stories without knowing the total number of parts it will have since it is not finished. *gnaws fingernails nervously* Nevertheless there will be a new part every day.
