Woman in the shop could be many people. Donna, River, hell for a half a minute my mind went to Sally Sparrow.
I wanna know why she's reading a book written by Amelia Williams, aka Amy Pond. This of course makes it ironic when she tells Aarti, "Eleven's the best, you'll cry your eyes out."
Anyway those are just random thoughts. Watching US BBCA feed now.
However, they also released the Angel's Kiss ebook which 1) was a central part of Angels Take Manhattan & 2) the ebook was no relation to the one in the story.
For what it's worth here is the summary: In the seaside village of Watchcombe, young Kate is determined to make the most of her last week of summer holiday. But when she discovers a mysterious painting entitled ‘The Lord of Winter’ in a charity shop, it leads her on an adventure she never could have planned. Kate soon realises the old seacape, painted long ago by an eccentric local artist, is actually a puzzle. And with the help of some bizarre new acquaintances - including a museum curator’s magical cat, a miserable neighbour, and a lonely boy
( ... )
My honest thought on the shop quesiton is that it is future Clara herself telling present Clara to call the Doctor. She would have both the knowledge and the information to do so.

I do have a couple of pertinent (I think) questions, though:
What does the leaf mean?
Who was "the woman in the shop"??

Isn't that from the prequel? Although interesting both the Doctor and Clara don't quite work it out.
Who was "the woman in the shop"??
Now that is the big question which will probably answer everything...
