The bit in the silence in the library two parter when he talks about being old and having a head full of big stuff?

How long do these clips need to be? There's one brilliant moment in Tooth and Claw where Ten turns around, whips his glasses on dramatically and says something about how books are the best weapons in the world. And there's another later on in that that's similar to what you are asking, which is when he's working out that all is connected and messes his hair up. Smith and Jones also has an epic messing-hair-up moment while motormouthing out the plot, but he's sitting down in front of a computer at the time so it's not as dramatic visually. His ranting to the Haemovore in the same episode is also good because his dialogue and performance is so funny, but he's pretending to be human there.

Edit: Oh, and for Eight, it definitely needs to be "These shoes! They fit perfectly!"

I don't want them to be overly long because of them being watched on phones, so a couple of minutes at the most. As long as a music video would be long enough I think.

I had been thinking of that bit in Smith and Jones but like you say, he's just sitting down so it's not very energetic. I'll have to have a rewatch of the Tooth and Claw scenes in the library. I know the bit you mean about books being the best weapons in the world but I'm not sure on the other.

Ah, that's longer than I thought, then. The scene I'm talking about is around the 34 minute mark, when he's holding the diamond and Queen Vic mentions it being "unfinished", and that word sparks off a rush of ideas in his mind.

I love the clip of Ten where he is poisoned and Donna kisses him. He is so manic in that one

I was considering Five's regeneration scene because it is so very him to sacrifice himself but I'm not sure it's the best scene for him. Castrovalva might be better.

That Three scene is perfect. And there was already a suggestion of the bit with Eight and the shoes so I was going to use that whole scene where he starts remembering. Thanks for the suggestions, very helpful :)
