Big Finish's Gallifrey Series 3 and The Road to the Time War
In the absence of new Doctor Who on our television screens, I have been listening my way through series 3 of Big Finish Production's Gallifrey audio dramas for the first time.
Gallifrey is fantastic in general and series 3 is doubly so, because this is when everyone's secret schemes and political manipulations explode into open violence and civil war, which is immensely cathartic.
So, I'm on a Big Finish Gallifrey high at the moment and filled with thoughts about how extended universe audio continuity connects to and helps explain the back story for the Time War and New Who.
