Its Friday!

Mickey awoke to the annoying sound of his alarm clock. Rubbing his eyes sleepily, he looked over at the bright red numbers read 7:00. Sleepily, he rolled back over. Martha was up already. Hopping out of bed, Mickey jumped into the shower to freshen up for the day.
Once he felt fresh, he headed downstairs and grabbed a bowl out of the cabinet, as well as a box of Shreddies. Today was a big day and he knocked back his cereal as well as a protein shake. Martha was already racing to finish her toast and marmite and her tea. The clock ticked impatiently.
It was almost 7:30! They were going to be late.
When they were done, Martha grabbed their bags and they locked up before rushing down the street to the bus stop.
There, a Figaro was already waiting. Mickey waved as he saw in it his friends. Sarah Jane and Luke were kicking it in the front seat, while Jack was sitting in the back.
Mickey paused, trying to make up his mind whether to take Luke's seat up front or just get in back with Jack. Jack grinned and winked at Mickey as Martha climbed in back. Rolling his eyes, he climbed in after.
By 7:45 am, Sarah Jane was flying down the highway, switching lanes back and forth. They were going a little fast, passing a school bus and almost hitting another car, but Mickey was barely paying attention. He was thinking about the fun he was going to have this weekend. He was so excited.
Heck, everyone was looking forward to the weekend. It was Friday and the Doctor had invited them all to the TARDIS for a party on some other planet. He had promised plenty of "gettin down" and some other such.
Mickey checked his watch, impatiently watching the time tick by. Tick tock, tick tock. C'mon, its the weekend, he told himself, RELAX.
Yesterday was Thursday. There had been a brief scuffle with Sontarans, but nothing the Smiths couldn't handle. It had been stressful, but today was Friday, the weekend was here and he was going to have a ball.
They pulled into a car park where the Doctor awaited them next to the TARDIS. He looked a bit different now, having regenerated AGAIN. Mickey found he looked like a bit of a geek now with the bowtie and tweed, but really, he looked all right. At least as long as he got rid of that fez...
"Haaaappy Friiiiiday!" the Doctor exclaimed as he and his friend Rory helped them with bags over into the TARDIS. "Welcome to the partyin'! This is Rory and this is Amy. You didn't meet them the last time. A bit of a detour. Something about a Cup... Well, I hope everyone's been looking forward to the weekend! We're gonna have a ball today. Then tomorrow is Saturday and after that, who knows? This weekend is NEVER going to end."
