Jenny and genetics

I don't know why they called Jenny the Doctor's daughter when with only one DNA source she should be a clone. She doesn't look like Ten and she's female.
But then there's the casting choice that's not only cool, but also really very interesting. I hope Georgia Moffett wasn't only chosen for the in-joke (which I totally love) but also because it would be really very interesting in the story: Jenny looks a bit like Five - does that mean there are still rests of the Doctor's former incarnations' genes in his body? I love that idea. You could just steal his DNAs and clone your own Doctor from your favorite incarnations XD. Or make a female Doctor if you want.
Does anyone know if that was the intended logic?
