She threw Sky out the back door, the one they all entered at the beginning. It had glass over it because it was directly to the outside, unlike the cabin door. The cabin led to another enclosed area, until the whatever it was ripped the cabin off.

Thanks, I wasnt sure. I was half-convinced it was the side door, but not knowing drives me mad ^-^

The same reason the Titanic didn't have enough lifeboats -- the manufactures and owners considered what's there (half an airlock plus a six-second force-field) sufficient.
