The Doctor enters Flugtag London 2008!
(God, I hope no one's mentioned this. I didn't see it anywhere.)
Or, at least, some awesome Whovians who wanted to pretend to be the tenth Doctor and a few "friends" entered the competition.
Doctor lands Tardis in Leeds
Keith Godfrey, will be piloting - and will hit the water along with his beloved police box.
"I was put up as The Doctor because no one else wanted to jump off," he said. '"But it would be the best idea for The Doctor to go with the Tardis.
"It will be the first and last time The Doctor, the Daleks and the Cybermen team up."
The article itself is about a week and half old. But the Flugtag competition was held today - those in the UK already know - and I caught sight of the TARDIS during CNN coverage of the event. I about jumped out of my chair with geeker joy. I wonder how well they did? We all know the ship doesn't do much regular "flying", anyway. :)
