I like the way that this makes daleks seem really devious (OMG your best friend is a dalek spy robot!1!), insanely powerful (two thousand miles an hour, electricity to power London), but also really crap:

"Thus, anything red is totally invisible to Daleks."

The wonderful Completely Useless Encyclopedia thought the Red Dalek was their attempt at a stealth Dalek. :)

It took them twenty-five years to figure out how to climb stairs. I'm not especially impressed with their intellectual prowess.
