Superior Write-Fu: how to win/fail at fic descriptions, guest starring Sensei Half_Life_Wolf.

doctorv: *snork* I think fic descriptions have reached a level where they can be actual cliches now. "[Noun] leaves [Character] [adjective], but [noun] from [other Character] may be more than he bargained for."
doctorv: TELL ME YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THAT DESCRIPTION BEFORE.
doctorv: YOU CAN'T, CAN YOU?
She could not. )

learning is fun, wankity wank, hear my evil laugh and know fear, babble, words are fun

I now have an overwhelming urge to write a fic soley so I can use that description. Good thing it's 2 in the morning and I am not mentally capable of brainstorming.

Commenting to remind you of this when you get up so you'll write it.

Okay:
1) I literally just woke up.
2) I hate you now, you need to know this.
3) I already have other fics in the work for Doc, I can not afford distractions!
4. I'm totally going to end up doing it anyway. *sigh*

I'm pretty sure I've seen that first summary on the backs of romance novels.

Most of the time, lately, I seem to find fic where for the summary they have just quoted the first or sometimes the second paragraph.
