Mikey the Garbage man!?
Well firstly... I'll start off with the beginning so nobody gets confused...
I had a crack in my radiator, so radiator fluid splashed all over my motor and such, not a lot, but enough to make it ugly... Anyway, I had this guy come out to clean it for 35$. No detailing shops would do it, since radiator fluid is harmful to the eco system or some B.S... So he was my only choice. Anyhue, we met up at my Mother's house, he sprayed degreaser all over my engine, washed it down, scrubbed everything underneath my hood, degreased again, washed it down, then sprayed some rubber protectant to make it all look nice. Well, while he was doing that my Mother's garbage man pulled up, doing his garbage thing, and we started talking about cars and shit... Well I asked him how he liked being a garbage man, since as many as you know, I am trying like hell to get out of this job. He said it was cool... You dont even need to get out of your truck anymore, you just use a lever inside to grab the garbage cans and shit... Anyway, he said they make 18/h, I make 19/h, BUT if I got a job there I would be working locally, so I'd save on gas & BART (Roughly 150$ a month, a little less at that), I'd be working days again, not crappy graveyard anymore... And they get HELLA overtime he said, so I'd be getting more money than I do now... He said they'll probably be hiring in 6 months or so because a lot of people are retiring...
I just have to go for my class B liscense now so I can operate the dump trucks... I hope I get a job there, that would be awesome. It would be a lot better than working at the Sherwin-Williams factory that's for sure!!!!
Oh, and he had face piercings too so I guess they have nothing against them. Which is PERFECT!!! :D:D
