"Wise Up" 9/?

Author's Note: Two weeks this time, burn. :( Sorry! Thanks for the awesome response to the last chapter, really I was very tickled by it all. Chapter 9, oh this one is kinda rough. I think you'll probably either love it or hate it and either love or hate Addison and Derek (separately and together) after this. Things had to be addressed, though ( Read more... )

i.............. want to do unmentionable things to you.

I can sleep easy. Because really, they needed to have a knock down all out fight. In the long run they will be better for it.

Probably...

...I've never had that kind of response to an update. *grins*

Glad you were able to sleep well. And yes, they definitely needed this and they need more in the future.

Possibly. ;)

Thanks!

I feel bad for them both.

I hope she keeps the baby though.

That was absolutely perfect!! I actually LOVE that they fought, a lot of stuff needed to be said, especially on Addison's part, because the truth of it is that she did give all those things up ,just to try and make things work with Derek. Then when she gets to Seattle and has a promise to work on their marriage, Derek basically holds her hostage, giving just enough to keep her hanging on, but never really committing to work on their marriage.

I really hope that they can work it out, but I think it is so realistic that Addison doesn't know what she wants at this point. She may have always wanted a baby, but under these circumstances I can understand why she would question the timing of it all.

Anywho keep up the good work, I just love your characterization of Addek as individuals and a couple, if only Shonda had the vision that you did.

Wow, what great feedback! Thank you, MrsJeter (I'm sorry, that's how I think of you, lol!) Glad that you loved the fight, I have to say that it wasn't what I originally planned for the chapter (er, not to that extent, that is) but I was happy with how it turned out. I did think that stuff needed to be voiced. Keeping it bottled up isn't doing either of them any good. They both are dealing with bitterness and anger. I did have Derek yell about Mark because he really hasn't, you know? Other than being flip. But mostly I'm glad Addison got to detail exactly how it's been since she's been in Seattle, with him. The names, the coldness, the hostility.

All hope is not lost. Glad you thought it was realistic of Addison, not knowing what she wants and why she's questioning everything. As she said, she doesn't have a sense of anything and the trailer was suffocating and paralyzing her.

EEE thank you, thank you! *blushes*

OH! That was..........intense?? kinda, sorta, I dunno, but I'm glad that happened, they diffinetly need to fight and work through some stuff right now, I hope she keeps the baby too.
..........I smiled when she slapped him though :P........

Yes, I'd say that was intense! And you're right, they did need to fight. Those things needed to be said. I think Addison was just so sick of Derek that she threw out the "I don't have to have it" thing. Although she is really unsure of where things stand and she does know this pregnancy came at the worst possible time. You'll see her decision in the future.

Ha-ha, I smiled writing her slapping him! He's such a wimp!

Glad you enjoyed; thanks so much!

Oh, yes, they fought. It doesn't solve anything, but they fought!

Thanks for sharing. :)

They definitely fought! Well, in the short-run, it didn't solve anything but in the long-run, I think it's an important step.

And thank you for reading and reviewing!
