Got back to the US last night... Greece was really cool. We got to stay in Athens for a couple of days (got to see the Acropolis) and then the rest of the trip was in Skopelos, which was awesome. The only thing that kinda sucked was sort of being the odd man out between the guys being guys and the other two girls being girly girls. So besides that being a little weird, everything was pretty awesome.

The highlights:
-made some really good prints of which I'm really proud
-Dennis mentioned the idea of me lab teching for him in Spain next year, which means that the school would pay for half of that trip... kind of hoping that will work out.
-got in a moped accident... I'm fine, just a little scratched a bruised... It was a late night and we didn't want to climb the mountain (I'm serious, it was a mountain) to get from the town back to Christos where we were saying. We ended up putting 3 people on each of the 2 bikes we had, but the one I was on left last and got caught in the rain. The roads through the town are made of stone, and were super slick, so we skidded over.. twice. It's gong to be a great story if my leg scars..
-got to go to three beautiful beaches (Glisteria/Valiamos, Milia, and Limnonari), the best of which was the last where we got to ride Christos boat around and saw dolphins super close. Super cheese, but pretty rad.
-Free drinks! The intern at the Foundation (Amanda) worked at this bar (the most beautiful ever), so we would go there a lot. Pantalis (the bartender) really hooked us up with drinks, so that was pretty sweet.

Some weird shit:
-I definitely missed reliant hot water in a tub with a curtain... in our showers, there was about a 2 in lip around the shower, and one of those snake showers, so you ended up spraying the entire bathroom when taking a shower.
-Flushing toilet paper has a new novelty to me. The pipes are bad in most of Greece, so you have to throw all toilet paper away. Now that I'm back, it's kind of fun to watch the paper spiral down (I finally understand what Mu Kao freaking out about).
-Greek guys (the real, country ones) are totally weird and skeevy. Remind me to avoid them.

More later...
