Best episodes ever
There's a Hungarian page about TV shows for TV freaks like me and they always ask questions, like what is your favourite guilty pleasure show and stuff like that, and now the question of the week is:
WHICH ARE YOUR FAVOURITE TV SHOW EPISODES OF ALL TIME?
And I think, this is an amazing question. The best episodes of the best shows. And it's quite difficult, because in an episode I call favourite I love EVERYTHING and would change nothing, and this is not something very common.
But I tried to make a list of my all-times best which looks like this:
-House: Three stories (1/21)do I have to explain why?
-House: Words and deeds (3/10) because this is exactly why I love television dramas.
-House: Airborne (3/18) because it's unusual and brilliant, funny and HOT. Perfect entertainment.
-Lost: I do (3/06) I think my all-times favourite of all the shows I watch. They proved they can handle the emotional arcs and this is maybe the most emotional TV episode ever. Not only ship-wise, really. All the relationships portrayed in this one, amazing. And amazing acting too.
-Lost: Live together die alone (season 2 finale) Because it's jaw-dropping perfection
-Lost: The long con (2/13): brilliant writing, I could watch this forever and it would still amaze me. Love it.
-Alias: The telling (season 2 finale): best cliffhanger EVER
-Gilmore Girls: Luke can see her face (4/20): if you love Gilmore Girls I think you know why I chose this one. There's everything in this episode wich maked this show so adoreable. Every single moment is sweet and perfect. I could have chosen the last 2 episodes of season 4 too, but this one is maybe the most special for me.
-The Office: Beach games (3/22) best sitcom episode ever, I was laughing so hard you can't even imagine...go Gryffindor, sabotage and WILMAAAAAA! :D
-Friends: the finale, nuff said. Perefction. I cry even thinking about it.
-Pushing Daisies: it's hard, because I really would love to choose all 3 of them, because I loved all the 3 eps like crazy. It's amazingly brilliant, I can't even tell how this show affects me...it stole my heart for sure. OK, I chose Dummy. (1/02) Because of the body bag kiss. :)
-Nip/tuck: the Christmas episode in season 3, because it was the most perfect Christmas episode ever made, it was beautifully emotional without being weepy or forced, it just worked perfectly.
-Sex and the city: The Ick Factor (6/14) Miranda and Steve's wedding and Samantha...it just breathtaking. Can't watch this one without crying.
-Sex and the city: the finale: PERFECTION.
-SP: Stupid spoiled whore video playset(8/12): because this is exactly how Paris Hilton is like and they just captured her whole phenomenon perfectly. Seriously South Park can be brilliant.
So after first thought these are mine, but I'm also interested which ones are yours?
