Bits and Snatches

It's Monday, the last week of public education in this county. It's been a rough year for many of us, yet in its roughness, our true spirit to overcome has emerged. What the final outcome will be is anyone's guess, so, as I would say to my cousin, "We'll just have to put in the Light." (That from a vision I had one day deep in prayer, where my requests were lifted with large hands into a large lap and then into the light...)
I haven't found a job yet.. I hope it's just because of circumstance and not because something is messed up on my applications. (I wish my application for certification would appear on the PDE website already)

Last week with my homebound kid.I hope she finds the energy to continue on this project. One of the things I learned in student teaching and I carry into this relationship is that hard as I try and hard as I want it, there are situations that are just out of my hands.

This time next week, Key West. Angel of Mercy returns to the hot and sticky Keys to help the cousin restore order. I suppose in that creation of order, we will also find time to discuss deep topics, silly topics and test my fears again. (parasailing anyone???)

I. need. a. job.
