So it starts
The first week home in the summer, and finally things start to happen-- I have my first interview FINALLY. It's for a middle school position at Plumstead Christian school. Truth be told, they were my first pick when I started this journey. I will reserve other thoughts till after the interview. Time to dust off the evangelical side of me and remember Christian buzz words. I'm sure I will have a good interview- now if I can just figure out what to wear and how not to trip over myself when I talk.
On other fronts, I am watching the progression of Hurricane Dennis across my beloved island areas. You can hear the rise of blood pressure in the voice of my cousin, who is trying to balance keeping his office open and battening down the hatches of his little houseboat.
I want this weekend to go by safely, quietly, and without incident.
