In Which Things Improve
So, Fred the cancer-striken tuxedo cat came home from the vet yesterday. The tally:
Red cell count - unchanged. He's still anemic, but not getting any worse. Not bad...
Spleen tumor - noticeably reduced in size just from last week. Encouraging...
White cell count - from 750 last visit (anything under 1000 is Worrisome) UP to 4900!! Yay!
The kitty oncologist decided he was healthy enough for another dose of the chemo drug, and he's definitely perkier and more active than earlier in the week.
Nice to have this news heading into the weekend!
