So, today was Payback Day.  Payback for all those weekends when I looked out at the growing jungle fo the backyard and said "Eh, it's not that bad.  It can wait another week."  So this week, when I finally resolve to finally Do Something About It, what happens?  The weed-eater ups and dies on me.  Something is flooding the engine and I'm not enough ( Read more... )

The Film originally had an ending much more like the play, but the studio got nervous, and was going to just re=cut it. Frank Oz said if it had to have a happy ending, he wanted to do it himself.

the ending I recall to "Little Shop" was a pan out to a happy little plant just beginning to grow...

If I recall the intended ending correctly, Audrey II ended with blossom's featuring faces...of people we already know in the play.

As much fun as the musical is, I grew up on the original non-musical film version -- everyone should see that...
