fathers day 2013
this weekend was fairly good. rushed dinner at dealmas Friday nite. meagan and toby came over for a few hours Saturday. Toby and Tris played very well together. Parting shot before bed......a typical
weekend nite occurrence now. Sunday I took Tris to Piedmont Park to the splshpad, lunch, and two playgrounds. He wasn't that into it. M made some comment about how'she probably should have made the effort to get me a present'. When we got back from the park she wasn't home. She was at the mall and handed me a shirt, pants, and a tie. I like the tie and pants but the shirt is two sizes too big. I. decided not to look the gift horse in the mouth, even though I really need a pair of jeans, boots, and a pair of work shoes. the only thing that's worse than not getting a gift, is someone getting you a gift because they felt obligated to, not because they wanted to do something nice for you or because you deserve it.
