What have I done

This morning I looked like this, with long, cascading waves:

now I look like this, a girly, 60s-ish mop:

and I can't decide which I prefer, but this will be good for travelling and certain costumes, and hair grows. Already a few people have told me I look more like myself with short hair, which I guess is a good thing but sort of confuses and worries me. Who am I, and how do I look more or less like myself? How am I not myself? I don't know. Moving on.

I've made a few more tea blends, because I am a big dork.

Because Harry Sullivan is made of awesome.
(A bit traditional, even a bit starchy, a little nuttty, and altogether wonderful)

Because Bessie is quite possibly one of my very favourite companions.
(With masses of energetic grapefruit and citrus because Bessie isn't afraid to exceed the recommended speed limit, and I am genuinely in love with anything that has grapefruit oolong in it, and I need the world to share my obsession)

Because Ben and Polly are such a fab team.
(Pragmatism + witty banter = a damn good cuppa)

Because Charley Pollard is flawless and amazing in every way.
(And seriously, it took me ages to find the right blend for Charley, and once I hit upon the winning combination, it's been in very heavy rotation here at Brewmaster HQ because it is so comforting and perfect and so Charley)

I'm not sure whether I'll have any samples of these teas in time for Gally, though, as all I have on hand are the bits and bobs from samples that I've cobbled together myself in the lab, and I'm not sure whether the nice giant bags I've ordered of them will arrive before I depart. I hope so, because I really want to share the love. Regardless, tell your friends, tea is good!

In other other news, in lieu of attempting to get to the fabric store in the snow, I will now attempt to construct the TARDIS pockets of Two's coat with a clearance-priced pair of black shorts I bought at Old Navy for like $8 today. Speaking of shorts, my Peri costume makes me feel pretty, and since I've lost 4 pounds in my desperate last-minute scramble to get into shape before Gally, I once again fit into my kilt without having to hold my breath. Triumph!

taste the rainbow, my doofy face, tea, gally
