Oh my God, this is everything I wanted and more! I loved the Doctor being subtly concerned about Barbara's well being, and I loved Susan's adorable curiousness and Ian being all goofy to try and impress Barbara. I adored Barbara refusing to make a Christmas Pudding (because she was Yataxa, dammit, why should she make the pudding?) and the Doctor stiff refusing to get Ian's name right. It's all these little subtleties that make your stories so wonderful.

And that ending was so bittersweet and lovely and, gosh, I just love Barbara so much.

And you, I really love you, and thank you so much for this because you made my Christmas!
