I'd slightly forgotten that I was meant to be doing National Novel Writing Month

... though I suppose a few rogue pages managed to squeeze through.

In the meantime, a rather ingenious little plot beastie squeezed its way through a teensy hole in the vortex and tells me to write of a rather painfully self-indulgent tale involving Six, Peri, the Aurora Borealis, snow, fish, possibly some geothermal phenomena, possibly even a small animal or two, an oversized Sonic Youth tshirt, some fresh-faced neighbours, long winter nights, a greenhouse, petty squabbles, more cuddles than sense, and feels.

Inspired by that feeling you get just before you fall asleep, the picture that is my icon, accidentally learning some interesting things about nature, and this song, which plays in my head with almost alarming frequency:

So I may not have stayed on task, but I'm feeling oddly productive, regardless.

Now if only I could channel my creative energy into anything anyone but me cared about, that would be a Gosh damn miracle.
