First posted to the booshbattle, now sticking it here too, I dunno, so I don't forget that I wrote it.

And it's more or less the lamest attempt at writing something dirty ever, but whatever. The idea attacked me at the office yesterday, several glasses of wine followed after work, and then this came out. Read it, etc.

He has feelings! He feels things! He feels Dan, if the above is any indication. Jonatton Yeah? is many things. Or possibly not any. He is shrouded in mystery. Or maybe he isn't. In my strange fictional imagination, I assume he has raspberry jam with breakfast. But it might have been black currant. We may never know.

(Except we may, because Jonatton Yeah? went and felt his way back into my head and made me type out JONATTON YEAH? HAS FEELINGS ETC. four hundred times, and it's going to be a cover feature next month, and/or the second chapter to this monstrosity.)

Okay - now I get it. Have watched the first three eps of NB - and am LOVING IT. How the frick did I not know about this show before now? So far I'm a committed D/J? fan - Jones is great but J? is osssum! Like Michael 'Fucking' Jackson osssum!
Dan may have left the gardening gloves out of it...but what about the latex ones?????
More D/J? pleeeeze!

All right! I think that makes the grand total like 4 D/J? fans in the universe! YES! WE WILL SLOWLY RULE THE WORLD.

And you love it! YAY! This makes me all kinds of happy! You are so gosh darn cool!!!

And yes, I'm writing more D/J? So much so that I even burned myself an inspirational shippy soundtrack mix cd. And it's quite hilarious. I must repeat: YOU ARE SO GOSH DARN COOL.

Of course I love it! What's not to love? Dan taking off his masturbating gardening gloves to reveal...another pair of gloves? Hee:) And I just loved Nathan's seductive rapping - "you drift off, while I have a scoff" - hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
And Jones is so cluelessly sweet, but Jonatton? I fricking LOVE HIM - he's such a tosser!

I KNOW, right?! THE EXTRA GLOVES OH GOSH. And and and I don't want to mention other stuff because I don't know which episodes you haven't seen, but... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I LOVE NATHAN BARLEY

And seriously. Jonatton is flipping amazing. And ridiculously fun to write for. So I'm writing another one with him. He's just so... Gah, love!

Jones is fun to write for too, especially inasmuch as there's such a challenge trying to tease out details about who the heck he is from his like five minutes onscreen. Dan's scruffy and smokes a lot and HE'S JULIAN BARRATT and he's hilarious and sometimes he's terrible and you still feel really really bad for him when things inevitably go wrong. Gosh. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE A FAN!

I love this. Like so much. I love Jones, like loads, but seriously Jonnaton is just dctfgbvyxgchbnjmnbviccxzfgbvggbhcr. He's such a horrible bastard that it's loveable...

You definitely write them both very well and it's good to see other peoples D/J? as I'm writing my own now and I'm awful at writing so... yeah, etcetera.

Jonatton's a complex fucker, and there's a lot more to him than meets the eye. I get more into that in later stories. (I'm 9000 words or so into the next one)

It's always nice to comment on people's old stuff - I think a lot of readers are intimidated by commenting on things after too much time has passed, but most authors appreciate knowing somebody's still reading!

Indeed, I really want to know more now, he's very interesting.

I like writing for Jones 'cause you have to make up a basic backstory for him as he's only on screen foor like five minutes. Jonatton's, I think, is harder to write for because most people can take the basic character and keep them going but you have to go deeper than that to write him good and although he's probably on screen longer you get a lot less from him up front and it's more about the subtext, which I live off by the way.

I haven't been on here for long so I can't relate too much but I do like to know that people are reading my stuff, comments are really the only way to do that as you don't really get a total views counter like you do on sites like YouTube.

You can really taste the irony! The repeat on that line made my LOL after OMGing at the hotness preceeding it. I can't believe you made this pairing work and made it hot!

I specifically loved the Holden Caulfield reference. It's so fitting, it's also why I am madly in love with Dan Ashcroft.
