I kinda went and did an art show.

Granted, it's no Damien Hirst (curse you higher-profile artist what Noel Fielding digs going and stealing my thunder by opening THE SAME DAY AS ME, FUCK) but I have a bunch of pieces hanging up on walls, in public, this month.

And here are some blurry cameraphone shots to give you a sense of it all )

woes, bad art

*hugs* You definitely aren't a failure. The job market and the economy sucks, but that doesn't diminish your talent. Congratulations on the art show!

I'll tell you what, I watched the Damien Hirst documentary last night and the most interesting thing about it was Noel playing with the butterflies. Your photography is honestly much better because it actually shows something. (Knowing my luck youll be a massive Hirst fan, but never mind :p) Congrats on the show!

Oh no no, I'm a bit *shrug* about him, really. Course, I do love polka dots, but beyond that, shrug. So, I mean, THANK YOU!

(Though I mean I wouldn't protest if somebody wanted to pay a few million quid for some art I've done)

I fucking love Damien Hirst. But that is not what's important.

What is important is that these are incredible you talented, talented bitch (I say with all the venom of the artistically impaired.) Really, they're amazing. The film school thing sucks, but if it's any consolation, struggling artists are incredibly romantic.

(That is probably very little consolation..)
