Japanese tapas at Dohyo. Stir-fried okra with ponzu sauce; crispy shrimp with lemon aioli, spring onion, and tobikko; tofu with sweet chilli on wilted garlic spinach, and sticky toffee hummingbird cake with roasted fennel ice cream. Absolutely sublime stuff, highly recommended.

Vanilla bean macaron, Union Square. Best flavour of the three I tried. All together, though, beautifully chewy and sugary enough that they gave me a tummyache, so I wandered around Forever 21 before going to dinner, until I didn't feel ill no more.
