So fascinated was I by the use of the phrase "way out" on train station signage in the UK that I may or may not have devoted an academic paper to discussing its connotative differences from "exit," which serves the same purpose on North American signs.

And damned if I'm not still a little miffy that it only got me a B+. But then that prof was a bit of a poop and that class was fucking weird.

Sometimes my allusions run so deep that even I don't understand the depth of them. But that's the fun of literature, ain't it?
